what is bat scripting? what are batch files or bat files?

you might have heard of batch files or .bat files

these files have the extension .bat and were first conceived of by microsoft

early on in dos random files such as autoexec.cfg or system.cfg or things like these

were run using the same system command syntax which includes operant functionwords such as

• cd
• dir
• del
